Home Remedy to Fade Skin Spots

Home Remedy to Fade Skin Spots

Often known as age spots or liver spots, skin spots appear because of excessive exposure to sun rays. Some items in your kitchen could help to fade skin spots and reduce their prominence.

Apple Cider Vinegar

According to Grandma's Home Remedies, apple cider vinegar could help fade skin spots. You can chop or blend an onion, strain the pulp to collect the juice, and mix one part onion juice with one part apple cider vinegar to get a solution for skin spot treatment. Apply once a day using a cotton pad and leave it on for 30 minutes.

Aloe Vera

According to HomeRemediesWeb.com, aloe vera juice and gel heals skin conditions such as burns and skin spots. When applied directly on the skin spots twice a day for at least 45 minutes each time, it often fades skin spots in one month.

Lemon

Lemon juice contains acid, which could fade skin spots within two months, according to Grandma's Home Remedies. Dab it on the skin spots twice a day for at least 30 minutes each time for best results. Wet lemon juice could increase sensitivity to sunlight, so wait for it to dry before going outdoors.
