The lemon cleanse drink is formulated for a number of health purposes, such as cleansing the body of toxins, improving digestion and losing weight. Ingredients
The ingredients you will need are a 10-oz.e glass of water, 2 tbsp. of fresh lemon or lime juice, 2 tbsp. of grade "B" or "C" maple syrup, 8 oz. of water and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Preparation
Pour all the ingredients into the 10-oz. glass and stir thoroughly. Prepare a fresh drink just before you take it.
Lemon Juice
When purchasing the ingredients for your lemon cleanse drink, purchase fresh, natural products, particularly the lemon or lime juice. Frozen or canned juices do not offer the same cleansing benefits as do natural juices. Organic products are an even healthier, more effective option.
Cayenne Pepper
Over time, and as you get used to the taste, gradually increase the amount of cayenne pepper that you use in the lemon cleanse drink.
Maple Syrup
Do not use maple flavored or Grade "A" syrup for this cleansing drink. These are not as effective as the "B" and "C" grades, because they are over-processed and highly refined, which destroys essential minerals.
Spring Water
Use purified, distilled or spring water that is lukewarm to medium hot. Tap water contains a number of chemicals and potential bacteria that may interfere with the cleansing process.
