Home Remedies for Pimples

Get rid of unsightly bumps and redness with quick and easy home remedies for pimples. If you feel you have a serious pimple problem, seek the advice of a qualified caregiver. However, the occasional pimple is nothing to worry about when you know what to do.

Toothpaste

Place a small dab of any toothpaste on the pimple. The ingredients in the toothpaste will help to dry up the pimple within 24 hours.

Lavender Oil

Rub a small amount of lavender oil on your pimples each day for an effective home prevention remedy.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and can quickly clear up pimples. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with olive oil and rub onto pimples as needed.

Honey

During your nighttime cleansing ritual, dab a small amount of honey onto pimples and allow to sit overnight.

Garlic

Slice a clove of garlic and rub gently over your pimples. Garlic can naturally destroy some bacteria that causes pimple breakouts.

Chaste Tree Berry Extract

When used as directed, chaste tree berry extract can be especially useful in preventing premenstrual pimples.

Strawberry Leaves

Boil several strawberry leaves with water until they are steaming. Lean your face over the steam until it is well-moisturized.
