Excess gas and bloating could have a number of causes, such as your diet, how often you exercise and underlying medical conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome or food allergies. Cinnamon and Hot Water

    A drink of 1 cup of boiling water with 1 tbsp. of ground cinnamon will relieve your bloating symptoms quickly. You can add a little honey to sweeten if desired. Drink while you feel bloated and while the combined ingredients are still warm.

Fennel Tea

Yoga Positions

    Specific yoga poses can help stabilize your GI tract and provide you with quick relief. For bloating, try laying on your back and lifting your legs over your head, with your arms down at your sides. Or lay straight on your back, and bend one knee into your chest. Hold, and then switch legs. Then sit on the ground and spread your legs as wide as you can, stretching your upper body down toward your feet.

Diet Changes

    Just cutting back on certain foods with prevent bloating from happening in the first place. Consume less salt or drink more water, drink juice or milk instead of fizzy soda drinks or alcohol, and cut back on beans and legumes when bloated. If bloating continues, visit a doctor to see if you have any food allergies or if you are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.
