How to Make A Relaxing Foot Soak

How to Make A Relaxing Foot Soak

Take time out to prepare yourself or a loved one a relaxing foot soak. The basic ingredients are inexpensive and easy to find. The priciest component is the fragrance: a small bottle of good-quality lavender essential oil can cost around $10, but because you only use a few drops at a time, it can last several years.

Instructions

    1

Gather together 1 cup each of sea salt, Epsom salts and ordinary white vinegar and 1/2 cup dried lavender flowers or a few drops of lavender essential oil and place these ingredients in a tub or basin big enough for both of your feet.

    2

Heat some water on the stove as warm as you can stand to have on your feet. Add to the ingredients in the tub.

    3

Mix the water briefly, using your hand. Place your feet in the basin or tub and add hot or cool water as desired to adjust the temperature to your preference.
