Apple Cider Vineger Cures

Apple cider vinegar is a popular folk remedy. While it may not completely cure ailments in every case, it can be helpful for weight loss, acne, fibroids, asthma and arthritis. Apple cider vinegar can be purchased from your local grocer. It also is available in capsule form at health food stores.

Weight Loss

For weight loss, add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to eight ounces of water and drink three times a day, or sip throughout the day. Try adding it to iced tea or even soda for greater palatability. Apple cider vinegar helps to cut the appetite and promotes weight loss.

Acne and Fibroids

Use apple cider vinegar to treat acne. A simple wash can be made by diluting some apple cider vinegar with water. Apply to the face or acne-affected area three times a day with a cotton ball. You may also apply this tonic at night, leave it on, then rinse off in the morning.

Take a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar a day to help shrink fibroids. Mix into water or your favorite beverage. This will also help to regulate erratic menstrual cycles.

Arthritis and Asthma

To treat symptoms of arthritis, use an apple cider vinegar and honey mixture. Mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water with two teaspoons of honey. Drink three times a day for optimal results. You may also soak an arthritic joint in warmed-up apple cider vinegar for ten minutes to ease inflammation. You will need to mix a quarter cup of the vinegar with one and a half cups of water. You can make a poultice using this solution; soak a piece of cloth in the vinegar and water mixture, wring out, and apply over the affected arthritic joint. Repeat several times a day.

To treat symptoms of asthma, add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water and sip for half an hour. Wait another half an hour and repeat the treatment. The wheezing that accompanies asthma should be significantly reduced.
