The generic name for Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate, which has a wide variety of uses to improve a person's health. For example, Epsom salt is approved by the FDA for use as a laxative. If you're having trouble moving your bowels, take Epsom salt orally. Of course, if you have any other medical conditions or allergies, you should seek advice from your physician first.
Instructions
- 1
Measure out 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt, and pour it into a glass.
2Pour in 8 ounces of cold water and stir.
3Add some flavoring to the Epsom salt water, or you won't want to drink it. The flavoring can be anything of your choice, such as a squeeze of a lemon or a little bit of Kool-Aid powder.
