How to Dilute Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is used to treat a variety of ailments. Additionally, it can also be used to clean the home. Following are some of the methods used for diluting tea tree oil.

How to Dilute Tea Tree Oil

    To use as a cleaning agent, mix 1 tsp. tea tree oil with 1/4 cup vinegar and 2 cups water. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt in after the other ingredients have been mixed.

    To use as an antiseptic, mix 4 oz. witch hazel with one tsp. tea tree oil. You can also use tea tree oil undiluted as an antiseptic.

    To use as an anti-fungal, mix 1 oz. tea tree oil with 1/2 cup tea tree oil.

    To use as a topical application, mix two parts tea tree oil to one part alcohol (vodka or antiseptic alcohol). For example, you could mix 2 tbsp. tea tree oil and 1 tbsp. vodka.
