How to Use Dandelion to Treat Eczema

How to Use Dandelion to Treat Eczema

Eczema is a form of dermatitis or skin rash that is characterized by itchy, dry skin. In some cases redness, blistering, flaking and cracking are also symptoms of the condition. You can treat eczema from the inside out with an all-natural dandelion regimen.

Instructions

    1

Drink dandelion tea regularly to help improve the function of your vital organs. Your liver, gallbladder and kidneys are designed to filter and eliminate toxins from your body. When they are not working properly, many different conditions, including eczema, can develop.

    2

Take regular doses of dandelion tincture. Also intended to stimulate organ function, the tincture preparation concentrates the properties of the dandelion. Use 2 tsp. daily to treat eczema and other symptoms of blood toxicity.

    3

Incorporate fresh dandelion leaves into your regular diet. Dandelion salad with balsamic vinaigrette is a delicious way to absorb the nutrients in dandelions and benefit from their antioxidant properties. Young leaves picked in the spring are the best for use in raw salads.

    4

Take 1 to 2 capsules of dandelion with a full glass of water as part of your dandelion therapy. Dandelion capsules are available from many different manufacturers, so follow dosage recommendations for each. Dandelion capsules are more palatable than other dandelion preparations because you can't taste them.

    5

Squeeze fresh dandelion juice in a juicer and combine with fresh carrot and/or apple juice. Ingesting raw dandelion is the best way to get all of the vitamins and nutrients to your skin. The carrot and apple juices will reduce the bitterness of the dandelion juice.
