How to Do a Lead Detox

Lead exposure can occur from old paints, work environments or stationery products containing lead. Lead toxicity or poisoning is detrimental to health as long-term exposure can result in birth defects, paralysis, dyslexia and weak muscles. Lead detox can be done through herb supplements, detox baths and diet.

Instructions

Herb Supplements, Bath Detox and Diet

    1

Take two to three mashed garlic cloves and stir fry for two minutes in olive oil. Mix in with other dishes. For best results, eat raw garlic cloves.

    2

Boil 36 oz of water. Mix in fresh green tea leaves (not bagged). Steep for 15 minutes. Consume throughout the entire day.

    3

Fill tub with as hot water as you can handle. Mix in 1 1/2 cup Epsom salts, 1/2 cup baking soda, and 1/2 cup ginger juice. Sit in tub for 25 to 30 minutes or until you start to perspire. Sweat for at least five minutes. Rinse immediately to prevent re-absorption of toxins. Wrap yourself in full body robe or towel so you will continue to sweat for the next half hour to an hour.

    4

Take 230 to 600 mg of milk thistle two to three times a day. Consume with a full glass of water and do not eat or drink 30 minutes before or after for full absorption in the bloodstream.

    5

Drink 1 oz of wheatgrass juice per day for one week. Take on an empty stomach and do not eat anything for at least 30 minutes. After one week, consume 1 oz twice a day.
