How to Use Kamala for Tapeworms

How to Use Kamala for Tapeworms

The kamala tree is a plant native to India and Australia. It has been used both in Ayurvedic medicine and in the textile producers of India to dye fabric. Medicinally, the glandular hairs found on the kamala tree have been used as a treatment for expelling tapeworms. These are ground into a power and administered to a patient. This medicine is classified as "violently emetic," meaning it causes vomiting. Kamala can be administered in the form of a powder or given as a tincture. This article will tell you how to use the powder form.

Instructions

    1

Purchase the kamala powder and the clear gelatin capsules. You can buy them from a reputable online company or purchase them from a local health food store. If the local store does not carry the kamala, ask if the business would be able to order it for you.

    2

Measure out a 1/4 oz. of kamala powder on your kitchen scale. This is enough for one dose of the herb.

    3

Fill the gelatin capsules with the kamala powder. Make a double amount of capsules; you may find it necessary to administer a second dose of the herb.

    4

Administer the capsules to the patient with at least an 8-oz. glass of water.

    5

Wait to see if the tapeworms are expelled by the patient. If no tapeworms are excreted by the patient, administer a second dose.
