Homemade Colema Board

Homemade Colema Board

Colema boards are boards that are used as platforms for individuals who want to perform a colonic enema in the comfort of their homes. The front of the board rests over a bucket or toilet that collects waste. The back of the board is held up by a chair or legs to hold the individual during the enema process.

Board Base

The base of the colema can be constructed out of a variety of rigid materials including metal, plywood, thick plastic or acrylic. This base must be strong enough to support the body weight of the user. Colema boards are slightly wider than the bowl of the toilet and long enough to accommodate the gluteus maximus muscles, torso and head of the user.

Evacuation Area

The evacuation area of the board is the area where bodily fluids are discharged . This area is composed of a hole through one end of the base board that is slightly smaller than the toilet opening. A rounded cover is attached to the front and sides of the hole to prevent bodily fluids from splashing into other areas of the room.

Enema Supplies

The board is used in conjunction with basic enema supplies, including water and tubing. Tubing is guided through the front of the rounded cover through a hole in the material.
