How to Make a Slim Wrap

How to Make a Slim Wrap

In your quest to lose weight you may consider body wrapping in addition to a healthy diet and daily exercise. Body wraps remove toxins from the skin, which build up in the body's fat cells. When the body releases these toxins, you may see signs of visible weight loss. These kinds of wraps are all the rage at some spas, with hefty fees to go along with the popularity. You can make your own slim wrap at home with ingredients and supplies you may already own, or can obtain at most health food stores.

Instructions

Clay Body Slim Wrap

    1

Cut strips out of a cotton sheet, 5 feet long by 6 inches wide. Cotton works well to soak up the liquid and holds onto the skin easily.

    2

Wash in a hot shower before you begin your slim wrap. The hot water opens up the pores in your skin.

    3

Combine 2 cups distilled water, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 cup green clay and 1/4 cup sea salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. You can find all of these items at most health food stores.

    4

Soak each strip in the bucket. Ring out excess water before you wrap the strips on your body.

    5

Begin at your feet and wrap the strips up your legs, to your hips, waist and chest. Wrap your arms last. You resemble a mummy when you finish applying the slim wraps.

    6

Lie down and relax for 30 to 45 minutes. Rinse the wrap mixture off with lukewarm water.

Coffee Thigh Slim Wrap

    7

Combine 1 cup warm coffee grounds and 2 tbsp. olive oil in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together well.

    8

Take a hot shower directly before applying the ground to your legs, to open your pores.

    9

Use your hands to rub the coffee ground mixture on the front and back of your thighs. The olive oil helps form a paste-like mixture that sticks better.

    10

Wrap plastic wrap around your thighs. Work from the knee up, and push up the skin as you wrap. Lie down for 10 minutes, then rinse off the grounds with lukewarm water.
