How to Develop Antibodies

How to Develop Antibodies

Although the graphic novel character, Wolverine, heals quicker than most people, humans need to develop antibodies to fight illnesses and diseases. Antigens are harmful intruders in your bloodstream. Your body creates antibodies, which attach themselves to the antigens to get rid of them. During flu season, it is recommended that we get flu vaccinations. Vaccinations are dead or nearly dead antigens that are injected into the body: Your body develops antibodies to kill them.

Instructions

    1

Receive a vaccination from your doctor or physician. Vaccinations are usually non-harmful forms of antigens, such as the flu. When injected in small amounts, you body builds up a tolerance by making antibodies to fight the antigens.

    2

Get sick. Any time you get sick, your body develops antibodies to fight the antigens of the virus or disease.

    3

Drink coconut water. Coconut water contains lauric acid which helps build up your immune system. Lauric acid is also found in breast milk.

    4

Eat vitamin C and zinc tablets. Vitamin C and zinc also improve your immune system. Your immune system creates antibodies and T-cells that kill viruses and other diseases.
