Cayenne Yeast Cure

Candida is a microscopic yeast found in the intestinal tract of most people. With healthy immune system function, candida and other bacteria, such as lactobacilus acidopholus found in yogurt, help to keep dangerous bacteria and microorgranisms at bay. An overgrowth of candida arises from a system imbalance in the body. Cayenne pepper provides an alternative treatment for the overgrowth or imbalance of yeast in the body.

Properties

The application of cayenne pepper originates in ancient times. The fruit or pepper is the same ingredient that adds spicy flavor to many recipes, such as chili. Cayenne pepper can be made into creams, as well as tinctures. It can enhance circulation when taken internally in tincture form, and ease arthritic pain when applied as an ointment. It also can be added to your diet as part of a natural health care plan.

When used to treat a yeast infection, cayenne improves circulation and helps disinfect the body. This action of cayenne pepper helps to encourage regeneration. A simple way to consume cayenne pepper is to combine it with lemon juice to make a beverage.

Cayenne Pepper Drink

While cleaning toxins from the system and boosting circulation, a cayenne pepper and lemon juice drink also provides beneficial vitamin C. Both the cleansing action and the vitamin C can boost immune system functioning.

To make a pepper-lemon juice drink, you need 1 cup of hot water, 1 to 2 teaspoons of fresh-squeezed lemon juice (preferably from fresh, organic lemons), a pinch of cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of real maple syrup. Combine all of the ingredients, and sip once the mixture cools off. This drink causes a sweating action, which is the body's way of releasing toxins. It also helps to restore balance to the digestive tract, where most bacteria and toxins originate.

As with any herbal remedy, consult with your physician before implementing a new regime. The cayenne pepper and lemon juice tonic is not guaranteed to produce a cure for yeast, and you may need more conventional treatment.
