How to Remove Toxins with Bath Salts

How to Remove Toxins with Bath Salts

Epsom salts, which contain magnesium sulfate, can be used for ridding many toxins from your body when added to your bath water. Sulfates speed up the natural process of cellular function, causing them to excrete the toxins much faster than they would on their own. Sulfates can be used to remove certain excesses of hormones, such as thyroid hormones and estrogen, as well as toxins that come from drugs, environmental chemicals, and even foods. Once this bath salt is added to your bath correctly, you'll allow your body to get rid of the toxins naturally.

Instructions

    1

Prepare the bathwater. Fill your tub with hot water to the desired amount of your regular bath. Hot water will help the bath salts to dissolve when added to the liquid much easier than if the water were cool.

    2

Add the Epsom salt. Mix in a cup or two of the Epsom salt and stir it around in the water for a few minutes. This will give the salt an equal distribution throughout the water.

    3

Sit in the bath. Allow your body enough time in the mixture to absorb the nutrients from the bath salt. Usually, 20 or 30 minutes is enough time for the Epsom salt to take effect.

    4

Get some rest. Go to bed for at least three hours, so that the Epsom salt can continue its toxin removal process. Cover up with thick blankets to help your body sweat out the toxins.

    5

Take a shower. Wash off the Epsom salt from your skin by taking a shower. Repeat steps 1 through 5 on a regular routine to continue removing the toxins from your body.
