How to Get Quick Relief for a Yeast Infection

Anyone who has ever had a yeast infection will tell you that there is nothing worse, than that awful itchy burning sensation. Fortunately there are several things that you can do to get relief. I usually use a combination of natural as well as the usual methods of treatment.

Instructions

    apple cider vinegar

    Mix 3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar to 1 qt.warm water and use as a douche.
    This will restore your bodies natural pH. balance and relieve the itching. Or if you prefer you can also add one cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath water

    Take 500 mg. of olive leaf extract and 600 mg.of caprylic acid. You will need to do this three times a day with meals. Be sure to take them for 60 days, even if your symptoms subside, this is because you want to be sure and get rid of all of the yeast in your body.

    Eat 2 cups of yogurt a day, unflavored is best because it doesn't contain sugar which feeds the yeast. If you can't stand the taste of yogurt then try a supplement like Primal defense. Be sure to take 2 capsules three times a day.

    Use the monistat 7 right before bedtime.

    Make dietary changes such as adding yogurt and garlic to your diet on a regular basis as well as reducing your intake of cheese,sugar,beer,and bread. This will also help reduce the risk of you having another yeast infection in the future.
