How to Relieve Allergies with NeilMed Sinus Rinse

When you are experiencing allergies or a cold tremendous pressure may build up in your sinuses. This pressure can sometimes be relieved simply by blowing your nose. But when that isn't enough what should you do? NeilMed Sinus Rinse is an alternative remedy to relieve sinus pressure. The gentle flow of the saline solution will wash out sinus cavities of whatever is irritating it and help alleviate the pressure.

Instructions

    1

Sanitize your hands with soap and warm water to remove any bacteria.

    2

Empty the contents of the NeilMed Sinus Rinse packet into the NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle. Fill the bottle with 8 oz. purified warm water. Close the lid, and cover the opening while shaking the bottle to mix the water with the contents from the packet to form a saline solution.

    3

Lean forward with your head over the sink and the tip of the NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle into one nostril. Squeeze the bottle to allow half of the saline solution to flow up into your nostril and out the other. Once half of the bottle has been emptied, stop and gently blow your nose with a tissue to release anything else that is still in your nose. Be sure to not squeeze your nostrils closed while blowing your nose to protect your ear drums.

    4

Repeat the previous step with the other nostril allowing the second nostril to drain.
