    Increase your anti-oxidant intake to prevent cancer. Curcumin is also linked to cancer. Curcumin is a phyto/plant nutrient that shuts off the genes that cause cancer. The renowned MD Anderson Center in Texas is conducting research on the action of curcumin in stopping the progression of pancreatic cancer.

    Promote brain health. The curcumin in tumeric, as well as the other spices in curry powder, are reputed to sharpen the cognitive powers of the brain and lift the emotions.
