How to Naturally Treat Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris)

Tinea Cruris, more commonly known as Jock Itch, is an infection of a fungal parasite on the skin. Tinea Cruris usually affects men, but can in fact affect women as well. When a patient has Jock Itch, usually the upper thigh and groind suffer from a swollen red rash that is itchy. Below are some natural remedies that can be used to help treat Jock Itch.

    The most important thing to do is to avoid wearing tight fitting clothes. Tight clothes lead to overheating in the groin area which makes it easier for jock itch to persist.

    Make sure to dry the groin area thoroughly after any baths or showers.

    Apply Tea Tree Oil directly to the affected area after drying the area after bathing. Apply the Tea Tree Oil 1-2 times per day.

    Apply Oregano Oil directly to the affected area 1-2 times per day. Switch between the Tea Tree Oil applications.
