Home Remedy for Stretch Marks on the Breasts

Stretch marks are sometimes caused by fluctuations in body weight and often occur with pregnancy. Stretch marks on the breasts are no different from those elsewhere on the body. First appearing as red marks or lines, stretch marks eventually fade to white, often disappearing completely. While no home remedy can permanently eliminate stretch marks, you can use the following techniques to help fade their appearance.

Options

Techniques for fading stretch marks usually involve moisturizing the skin. Rub cocoa butter into your skin for an easy way to soften and moisturize the area. Apply cocoa butter as often as you like to areas prone to stretch marks. Cocoa butter is available in a wide variety of lotions and creams, and can even be found in a solid stick form to use directly on stretch marks.

Vitamin E can also be helpful in the treatment of stretch marks. Break open a vitamin E capsule and apply directly to the affected area. Vitamin E when mixed with aloe vera and cocoa butter makes a particularly effective moisturizer.

Skin irritations and conditions of all kinds respond well to vitamin A. Vitamin A is a component in many skin care lotions and creams, and it can be used as a massage treatment for stretch marks.

Vitamin K, found in creams, is also useful as a home remedy for stretch marks. Apply generously twice a day to see results.

Make an aromatherapy-infused massage oil to help fade stretch marks. Combine a few teaspoons of sweet almond oil with a few drops of chamomile and lavender essential oils. Massage well into the affected area once or twice a day.

Daily exercise will maintain the condition of your skin. Also be sure to eat a healthy diet that will promote healthy skin and tissue growth. Consume foods with high levels of vitamins C and E and zinc. Examples are oranges, eggs, fish and flaxseed. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, which will hydrate your skin.
